TEFAF Maastricht is now behind us and we are back in the gallery, busy with the complex logistics in the aftermath of the fair. But we are also looking forwards and preparing our next event in the gallery. Spring is unquestionably in the air, with warmer weather and nature coming into bloom. So it is the perfect moment to have a gallery weekend with the theme of our catalogue – Flora & Fauna!
Did you miss visiting TEFAF Maastricht or are curious about our gallery and collection? Come and visit us!
Floris & Nynke van der Ven
Nature has always been a major inspiration in Chinese art. Plants, flowers, fruits and animals were not just admired for their beauty but also held hidden meanings, rebuses and puns for the Chinese viewer – adding depth and significance to the artworks on which they are depicted. During this weekend, we invite you to join us in exploring the natural and animal worlds, seen through the eyes of the Chinese craftsmen who made them!
